Whether it be the big screen or television, these celebrities stand out from all others because of their stunning eyes, which we are proud to say are not contacts. Check out these Black celebs with light eyes that make us swoon — and jealous — all at the same time.
Stacey Dash
Stacey Dash starred in a couple episodes of "The Cosby Show" and "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" early on in her career but her big break came in 1995's Clueless as the self-centered Dionne Davenport, opposite Alicia Silverstone and Brittany Murphy. Part Barbadian, African-American and Mexican, the former "Single Ladies" star caught a lot of flack in 2012 for endorsing Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Using her platform to express her conservative views, Dash also criticized Jay Z and Beyonce for their 2013 trip to Cuba.
Michael Ealy
Michael Ealy got his start in the acting business by starring in several off-Broadway productions before switching over to the silver screen. While he has remained busy in his professional life, the Think Like A Man star has always been protective of his private life. With his chiseled jawbone and light blue eyes, Ealy has been romantically linked to Halle Berry and rapper Eve. In 2012, Ealy married his girlfriend of four years in a private ceremony in Los Angeles. He is currently starring in Fox's hour-long drama "Almost Human."
Denise Vasi
Before she became a regular on "All My Children," Denise Vasi's face was already known for gracing the pages of numerous fashion magazines. Vasi starred on the popular soap opera as Randi Hubbard from 2008 until the long-running show went off of the air in 2011. The light-eyed Brooklyn native was brought onto the second season of "Single Ladies" to replace another green-eyed actress: Stacey Dash. Vasi also starred in the 2011 film What's Your Number? alongside funny lady Anna Faris.
Ty Dolla Sign
Ty Dolla $ign is more than just a singer/rapper. Signed to Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records, he can also play the bass guitar, drums and keyboard and has also served as producer for several of his own projects. The hazel-eyed, dreadlocked California native has released a couple mixtapes but most recently dropped his highly anticipated Beach House EP last month. He is expected to release his debut album later this year.
Vanessa Williams
In 1983 Vanessa Williams made history by becoming the first Black woman to be crowned Miss America. She can credit that feat to her stunning good looks and beautiful blue eyes. On a mission to find out exactly what her genetic make up was, the "Ugly Betty" actress had her DNA analyzed several years ago and found out she was 13% Finnish and 11% southern European. Light eyes run in the Williams' family; her brother fellow actor Chris Williams also has blue eyes.
Leona Lewis
British singer Leona Lewis always wanted to sing. Trained in opera before moving on to jazz and blues, the "Bleeding Love" singer gained international recognition by winning the third season of UK's "The X Factor" in 2006. Lewis can credit her light eyes to her mixed racial background. The 28-year-old's father is of African-Guyanese descent while her mother is mixed with Welsh, Irish and Italian.
Raven-Symone
At the tender age of three years old, actress Raven-Symone stole America's heart as the precocious Olivia on the hit sitcom "The Cosby Show." Since then she's managed to find steady work in Hollywood both on television and the silver screen. Very guarded about her private life, the 28-year-old has continued to dodge questions about her sexuality even as she was rumored to be dating former "America's Next Top Model" AzMarie Livingston. But the "That's So Raven" star's comments on legalizing gay marriage last year seemed to put the speculation to rest by confirming the rumors.
Jesse Williams
Actor Jesse Williams had a few guest appearances under his belt by the time he joined ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" in the sixth season. As the hunky, light-eyed Dr. Jackson Avery, he gave fans a new reason to tune into the show. While making an appearance on "The Wendy Williams Show," he revealed that his father is Black and his mother is Swedish American. Williams wed his longtime girlfriend in September 2012 and the couple recently welcomed their first child two months ago.
Gary Dourdan
Gary Dourdan first gained attention as Shazza Zula, the afro-centric and socially conscious brother on "A Different World" but fans will also recognize him as Janet Jackson's love interest in her "Again" music video. The 47-year-old is of African-American, American Indian, Jewish, French, Irish, and Scottish ancestry and can credit that mixed racial make-up for his light and dreamy eyes. The "CSI" star has struggled with drugs in recent years and filed for bankruptcy in 2012.
Tyra Banks
Supermodel Tyra Banks suffered from ugly duckling syndrome when she was younger but all of that changed when she sprouted three inches and lost over 30 pounds in just a matter of three months. Getting her start in modeling at 15 years old, the green eyed, long-legged beauty went on to have an illustrious career in front of the camera before helping aspiring models achieve their own dreams with "America's Next Top Model." Most recently, the 40-year-old has been romantically to fashion photographer Erik Asla.
Smokey Robinson
With his silky smooth voice, killer good looks, green eyes and wavy hair, Smokey Robinson was destined to be a big star. He was the founder and frontman for the group The Miracles for over15 years before forging out on his own as a solo artist. Robinson enjoyed a long career that has spanned over decades. In 1989, the "Being With You" singer published Inside My Life, a memoir about his life that included details about his drug use and subsequent recovery.
Jada Pinkett-Smith
At an early age, Jada Pinkett-Smith showed a passion for the arts and as a result she was enrolled in piano, tap and ballet lessons. At the Baltimore School for the Arts, she met and became lifelong friends with future rapper turned actor Tupac Shakur. The diminutive light-eyed star had a breakout performance in Keenan Ivory Wayans' 1994 A Low Down Dirty Shame following a stint on "A Different World" for two seasons. The Set It Off star is of African-American, West Indian, Creole, and Portuguese-Jewish ancestry.
Terrence Howard
Actor Terrence Howard had his first major starring role in 1995's Mr. Holland's Opus but it wasn't until almost ten years and a dozen roles later that Hollywood finally started to pay attention to him. After receiving much acclaim and accolade for his role in the 2004 film Crash, the hazel-eyed star grabbed his first Academy award nomination as pimp turned rapper Djay in the 2005 film Hustle & Flow. While he's had much success with his professional life, his personal life hasn't had the same luck. After several arrests for domestic violence, the twice-divorced actor recently married wife number three after one month of dating.
Eva Marcille
Before she was Eva Marcille, she was known as Eva Pigford, winner of the third cycle of "America's Next Top Model." While her modeling career was shifting into overdrive, the Los Angeles native changed managers and her name and began to focus on her acting career. Marcille dated Lance Gross (whom she was also engaged to) and rapper Flo Rida before meeting singer/songwriter Kevin McCall. She recently gave birth to her first child last month.
Regina King
For five seasons she was known as Brenda Jenkins on the 80's sitcom "227" and since then actress Regina King has gone on to star in a multitude of films and television shows. Married for a decade, the divorced mother of one was romantically involved with fellow former television teenaged star Malcolm Jamal Warner. In between juggling her recurring role on the CBS sitcom "The Big Bang Theory," the hazel-eyed star will once again serve as the voice for both Huey and Riley Freeman on the adult cartoon series "The Boondocks," which is slated to begin its fourth season this spring.
